As a result, girls remain deprived of this exciting opportunity. SARA organises such events in rural areas with the\u00a0 objectives:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">1.To provide opportunities to girls to play and to demonstrate to the society that they too have the capacity.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">2.To provide opportunities to girls to come together to discuss their problems.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">3.To highlight their potential through cultural, sports and creative activities.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Adolescents are grouped together in to groups called <strong>\u201cBal Panchayats\u201d.<\/strong>Regular elections of Panchayats are conducted to provide children with self-governance.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Imparting habit of discipline and decision-making among the children with knowledge of their rights motivates them to participate in various activities at their village, community and family level.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Sensitized child strives to grow and develop it\u2019s surroundings with appropriate spirit and enthusiasm<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apart from girls&#8217; school, no government run school ever allows girls to participate in sports competitions.
